Another Lapse in Japan: Pink Floyd 2.3.1988 Tokyo, Budokan Grand Hall

Pink Floyd setzten ihre A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour 1988 nach mega erfolgreichem Tourstart Neuseeland und Australien am 2. März in der legendären Budokan Hall in Tokyo fort. Acht Konzerte umfasste die Japan-Tour, ihre ersten Konzerte auf japanischem Boden seit 1972!

Zwei Konzerte am 2. und 3. März spielten sie in der Budokan Grand Hall. Und erstmals seit dem 5.7.1975 in Knebworth wurde The Great Gig in the Sky wieder gespielt und blieb bis zum Ende der Tour fixer Bestandteil der Setlist.

DAVID GILMOUR: Thank you very much, good evening (grüße auf japanisch). Right, gosh, it’s quiet. Right, we’re gonna play lots of new songs in the first half tonight from the newish record, which came out last year. Tons of old stuff in the second half. All your old favorites years ago. This is called Yet Another Movie.
