Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame induction: Pink Floyd 17.1.1996 New York, Waldorf-Astoria

1996 wurden Pink Floyd in die Rock and Roll Hall of Fame aufgenommen. Zur Zeremonie, die am 17. Januar im Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York stattfand, erschienen Rick Wright, David Gilmour und Nick Mason. Roger Waters fehlte.

Billy Corgan von den Smashing Pumpkins hielt eine schöne Rede. Er begleitete Gilmour und Wright bei Wish You Were Here, weshalb Mason nicht mitspielte, ist nicht bekannt.
