Record Store Day: Neues auf Vinyl von Roger Waters & David Gilmour

Am 26. September erschien anlässlich des Record Store Day Street Day von Roger Waters The Wall Live in Berlin auf zwei klaren Vinyl-Scheiben raus und ein bis dato eher unbekanntes Gitarrensoli von David Gilmour auf dem Soundtrack-Album Hackers.

On vinyl for the first time, the definitive soundtrack to the film Hackers is being released in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the movie, which will see revival screenings all over the world. The double LP features tracks that were not included on the original soundtrack, including “Protection” by Massive Attack, “Open Up” by Leftfield, two tracks by Guy Pratt, “One Combination” and “Grand Central Station” featuring David Gilmour as well as “Hackers Suite” performed by composer Simon Boswell. The commemorative package is in a gatefold, and new liner notes includes comments from director/producer Iain Softley and unreleased photos of the cast.

    Die Unterschiede Anotnher Brick part 2 wieder anderer Gesang da singt Frau Lauper anderes.. One Of my turns die geräusche fehlen wenn Roger die sachen aus dem Fenster schmeisst und Goodbye cruel world singt er nicht so gepresst. sondern glocken klar

    bei the trial geht die Mauer zuschnell nieder the Tide noch nicht gehört.

    Beiliegender Downloadcode funzte nicht auch nicht da sagte webseite code ist ungültig..

    Fazit man hat wohloriginal Lp von 1990 übenommen und nicht remastered !

      Aha, Danke! Da muss ich beim nächsten Hören der Scheibe an den von Dir genannten Stellen mal die Ohren genau spitzen! Meine holländische Original-Pressung, die ich anno 1990 gekauft habe und die neue Transparente werde ich mal vergleichen – auch vom Sound her – bin mal gespannt.

      Hab auch den Eindruck, teilweise neue Gesangsspuren oder sogar Gitarrenspuren (In the Flesh? – The Scorpions) zu hören. Hier und da scheinen Änderungen im Mix zu sein. Es steht zwar am Sticker “Cut at Abbey Road”, was neu ist, weiss aber nicht was damit gemeint ist. Auf jeden Fall stimme ich Dungeondogmaster zu: das Album ist mit Sicherheit nicht remastered worden. Der Sound ist immer noch sehr dünn…

    Hat Jemand das gleiche Problem, oder weiß Jemand, woran das liegt?
