David Gilmour wurde von aufmerksamen Mark Knopfler Fans am 30. Mai gesehen, als er nach dessen Konzert in der Royal Albert Hall aus dem Künstlereingangsbereich heraus kam. Gilmour besuchte Knopfler hinter der Bühne. Die beiden sind schon mal gemeinsam aufgetreten! In dieser legendären TV-Sendung, Knopfler spielte damals Gilmours Gitarre!
