Billy Corgan macht keinen Hehl daraus ein Fan von Pink Floyd zu sein. Er besuchte Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets Konzert in Chicago am 4.4.2019. Als Pink Floyd 1996 in die Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame aufgenommen wurden, hielt Corgan die Rede und spielte anschließend Wish You Were Here gemeinsam mit David Gilmour und Rick Wright.
