Lee Harris hat sich Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets ausgedacht
Die Idee, eine Band mit Nick Mason, die die frühen Sachen von Pink Floyd spielt, die stammte von Lee Harris, der seines großen Wissensschatzes über Pink Floyd von Guy Pratt, Gary Kemp, Dom Beken auch der Professor genannt wird.
I dreamed this thing up, sure. But Nick was surprisingly interested, and without him it wouldn’t have come together. He was the constant in Pink Floyd – it was his drumming that really was the backbone of that band – so without him it just would not be the same.

Harris beließ es nicht bei der Idee, sondern wurde initiativ, indem er Pratt bat Mason zu fragen, ob er nicht Lust darauf hätte, eine Band zu gründen!
Für uns ist das heute nichts Neues. Ich wollte es einmal mehr hier erwähnen! Danke Lee, ohne dich hätten wir vermutlich Mason nicht mehr auf diese Art und Weise erleben dürfen.
