Roger Waters eröffnete die “Ca Ira” Aufführung mit folgenden Worten:

Good evening, welcome! I’m very happy to be here. I don’t speak your beautiful language, so I need to read… Thank you all for coming. I want to thank especially Musica per Roma and D’Alessandro & Galli for inviting us here: it’s very important for all of us. In the end, I would dedicate this performance of Ca Ira to my friends Etienne and Nadine Roda-Gil, Philippe Constantin and Nick Grittifhs. Please give your welcoming to my friend and collaborator, conductor Rick Wentworth.

Im Publikum waren seine Kinder Harry und India sowie Adrian Maben, Marianna Faithfull und PP Arnold.
