🎧The Place of All Songdream – ein surrealer, pastoraler Folk-Rock-Traum in der besten Tradition von Cirrus Minor, Green is the Colour, Cymbaline, Fat Old Sun und Wish you were here mit Stéphane Grappelli. Zwischen Akustikgitarre, Country-Fiddle, Mellotron und Stratocaster-Solo entsteht ein Klangbild, für das verlorene 7. Kapitel von Kenneth Grahams „The Wind in the Willows“ das wie ein zwischen More und Wish You Were Here auf einer Sommerwiese aus Zeit und Licht früher aufgenommener, britischer Country Song klingt und wirkt.

Syd’s Kindheitsbuch Kenneth Grahame’s „Der Wind in den Weiden“ siebtes Kapitel Der Flötenspieler an den Pforten der Morgendämmerung beschreibt ihn, den Ort allen Liedtraums. Die ersten Zeilen habe ich Ruppert Brooke’s ‚The Old Vickerage“ entnommen.
