The Pineapple Thief – Versions Of The Truth Tour 2021/2022

Wie sämtliche anderen Bands mussten die The Pineapple Thief ihre für den Herbst 2020 geplante Tour verschieben, absagen und auf Eis legen. Dass im September 2020 veröffentlichte neue Album Versions Of The Truth konnte somit live nicht vorgestellt werden.

Im April 2021 beschlossen die Progressive-Rocker ein Livestream-Event zu spielen. Vier Tage blieb der Film online verfügbar. In Zusammenarbeit mit Regisseur George Laycock entstand aus diesem Material der Konzertfilm Nothing but the Truth, der am 22. Oktober als Blu-ray, DVD Audio, 2x CD und Doppel-LP erscheint.

Im Oktober 2021 ist es endlich so weit. Pineapple Thief brechen auf zu ihrer Tour mit dem neuen Album Nothing but the Truth und einem reichhaltigen Backkatalog

Bruce Soord: Nach so langer Abwesenheit wird es sich wundervoll anfühlen, unsere Musik wieder live vor Publikum zu spielen. Es wird ein wirklich spezielles Set werden. Und es wird sehr emotional sein!

    Hallo Werner. Ich hatte Tickets fuer das Konzert von PineAppleThief vom 22.10.21 in Trezza All’Adda (bei Mailand). Dieses wurde aber leider von der Band selbst abgesagt:

    Hi everyone. We’ve had to make the reluctant but inevitable decision to postpone our 2021 Italian shows.
    We were waiting as long as we could to see if things would improve, but with such strict social distancing rules and a very limited capacity allowed for indoor shows in Italy, set to be in place for the foreseeable future, we are left with little choice.
    It’s desperately disappointing for all of us to have to do this, but we will meet again!
    All tickets will be valid for the rescheduled shows, which will now take place in February 2022.
