David Gilmour über die Entstehung von ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’

27.9.2011: Classics Du Jour’s Paul Rappaport hatte die Gelegenheit mit David Gilmour über die Entstehung von “The Dark Side of the Moon” zu sprechen. Das Interview wurde auf Gilmours Studiohausboot Astoria geführt. Gilmour spricht dabei u.a. über Nick Masons Art das Schlagzeug zu spielen. Nicht einmal der Beste Drummer der Welt könnte “Comfortably Numb”, so spielen wie Nick, so Gilmour! Außerdem wird er noch über Rick Wright und Storm Thorgerson etc. gefragt. Das Sahnehäubchen obendrauf: Gilmour spielt auf der “Black Strat“, auf sehr gefühlvolle Weise “Breathe” und “Us and Them”!
