Roger Waters untersützt auf seiner The Wall Tour Amnesty International

Schon letztes Jahr ist mir beim Roger Waters The Wall Konzert in Zagreb ein kleiner Stand von Amnesty International positiv aufgefallen. Auf seiner aktuellen Tour 2012 unterstützt Waters die Kampagnen von Amnesty in Nordafrika und Nahen Osten.

Waters bedeutet es viel, dass Amnesty International die Menschen die zu seinen The Wall Shows kommen über die dramatischen Ereignisse im Nahen Osten und Nordafrika informiert.

ROGER WATERS: It’s very important to me to have Amnesty along on this tour talking about the dramatic events in the Middle East and North Africa. In some small way, I want to ensure that people who come to The Wall Live take away a sense that human rights matter and barriers between people and their rights need to be torn down.
