Für Pink Floyd Fans von Interesse wird der Zabriskie Point Soundtrack sein. Denn dieser wird als Doppel-Vinyl veröffentlicht werden! Auf dem zweiten Longplayer befinden sich vier Pink Floyd Songs, die es nicht auf den Original-Soundtrack schafften. Wir kennen sie von der Doppel-CD:

Einige von uns kennen aber wahrscheinlich auch ein Bootleg von den Pink Floyd Sessions in Rom mit weiteren unglaublichen Tracks, in hervorragender Qualität. Darunter ein gespielter Orgasmus von Roger Waters!

Mich würde interessieren, wer in Besitz des Urheberrechts für diese Pink Floyd-Songs ist? Die Band selbst wahrscheinlich nicht? Sonst hätte sie wohl schon etwas davon veröffentlicht. Die Nachlassverwalter des verstorbenen Regisseurs Michelangelo Antonioni? Oder die Filmfirma?

Long out of print soundtrack from the 1970 film by Italian director Michelangelo Anonioni, widely noted at the time for its setting in the late 1960s counter-culture of the United States. Some of the film’s scenes were filmed on location at Zabriskie Point in Death Valley. This expanded 2 LP version features four songs from both Jerry Garcia and Pink Floyd that did not appear on the original soundtrack release.
