Heute wurde offiziell bestätigt, was seit einigen Tagen unter Insidern und Fans die Runde machte. Pink Floyd veröffentlichen im März den Mono-Mix ihres Debütalbums aus dem Jahr 1967 The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.

The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, Pink Floyd’s attention-grabbing 1967 debut album, remastered in 2017 from the original mono analogue tapes by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman (and available as a limited release in 2018) is coming on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, on March 4th 2022. 

Dieser Mono-Mix von Piper erschien 2018 zum Record Store Day. Damals noch limitiert, mit einer Auflage von 15.000 Stück erscheint das Album am 4. März 2022 regulär, als Reissue von Pink Floyd Records mit der Nummer PFRLP38.  (Discografie: Pink Floyd)
