Nights to Remember: David Gilmour 30.5.2006 London, Royal Albert Hall

The Great Gig in the Sky

“A Great Gig in The Sky” wurde von Mica Paris gesungen.

And of the RAH shows from your last tour, won’t Gilmour edit anything?

    • Werner Werner sagt:

Yes … good question! His last shows in the RAH were among the best on the tour! Several cameras filmed! All in all, this would make a very nice Live at the Royal Albert Hall box set!

I’d like that too, especially since the 2006 show has visual problems with the lights a lot of times (due to the cameras they used) and looks not so good sometimes, at least not the way it looked in real. Would be nice to have a second show in the RHA where all the beautiful lights are seen the way they actually looked…and having another Gilmour show to watch is always a good thing anyway. 😉
Was the Gdansk show filmed in better quality btw. or why did he release just a DVD of that show?

        Thanks for the reply Werner.
I was in the last 2 (September 29 and 30) and the 30 was a barbarous concert. I saw the cameras, but 4 years have passed since then, I begin to lose faith.
