Sollte jemand Text Verbesserungen bzw. Übersetzungen haben nehme ich sie gerne entgegen.

Phil Blizzard: Roger lass uns damit beginnen warum du nach so langer Zeit wieder auf Tour gehst?

ROGER WATERS: The last big tour i did was in `87 which was the Radio Kaos Tour. I dont know, then i did The Wall in Berlin in 1990 which was a lot of Work. What happend Then? Then i got divorced and i knid of moved around a bit. I did one Gig in 1992 with Don Henley for his Walden Woods Project in Universal Amphitheater in L.A. he asked me if i would sing a few songs. And i did that it was Don Henley, me, JohnFogerty and Neil Young. And it was a great Night. I went on stage, i used his Band and sang a few songs and there was an enormus warmth coming off the audience and i thought well acutally this isnt to bad maybe i should do some of this again. And i had that back in my mind thru the Ninties and finally in `99 i thougt well i dip my toe in the waters and see what happens. And i did and it went pretty well and i went back and did another one and here i am now with touring with Dak Side of the moon and its all good.

You left the Band in 1985 they went on to tour without you. So do you think of that time your involvement in the band wasnt fully appreciated?

ROGER WATERS: Thru the years after i left the band in`85 they toured in `87 and they toured again in `94 i think i was ........ rather us the kind of the grumby guy who left in a half. And after Live8 i think they though he maybe he is not quite so grumby after all. Cause i ........ enjoyed Live8 and i came to it with a very open mind and a verry open heart and decided to just get on with it and do it. And i think that changed Peoples perceptions to some extend. But i went into the whole process to term in to role over if there was over an agrument about anything. .......... If theres any conflict i will immediately play dead and then everything will be fine. And i did and it seem to work rather well i have to say.

Rolling over and playing dead is perhaps not really you. Is it?

ROGER WATERS: You know rolling over and playing dead i not my natural style i have far to much life and ........ to the work and far to many ideas and you know my natural state is to express the ideas and feelings that i have and some times at full volmue constantly the whole time. So to not be engaged is a very alien condition for me.

The Reunion in the Summer of 2005 was that a one off or could there be more?

ROGER WATERS: The Problem is this i think that and this i think is why Dave`s very reluctant to do anything again. Is for 20 years its been his baby and i think he his very reluctant to give that up he is verry reluctant to give up this position. Why should he? I just thought it was very cool.

If you could persuade Dave what would it take to get Pink Floyd back together again? .....

ROGER WATERS: You know if some how .............. working all thru our egos, all the history and all the whatever we could come together for whatever reason. i dont care what it is. We could go in somewhere and you know maybe do a few Gigs in London a few in New York and few in L.A. great. Palastin i love to play in Palastin. Whatever i´d be up for it. And it would be a sort of one not a One-Off Gig i dont see because to do all work just for one night would be ....... a number of evenst that we could do that would kind you know draw a nice line under it. Well under the work the four of us did together cause i wouldnt be interested in doing anything else really i be interested in the work we did together. That would be i think very satisfying.

Before we move on to your current show lets finsh of this part and lets tell us about your highligt about working with David Gilmour?

ROGER WATERS: Well you know Dave was always a great singer and he still is actually he still sings very beautifully and so to hear his vocal interpretations of some of the songs when we are making the recordings and also Dave´s great at harmony he has a very acute and sensetive ear for harmony so a lot of those kind of doubletrack and the harmonys were he sings with his own voice on thru Dark Side or on lots of the records i would sort of sit back while he did that and he would follow his own instincts and produce this great Harmonys. .............. I think its great Talent to be able to do that something i really appreciate.
