Today i discovered the first official version here in Germany. It's defenitely a new master possibly from the original film material. The German cover title is "Rock Fieber", wich means "Rock Fever" in english. But during the film they still use the original typografic samples and also the original title "Stamping Ground".

The overall picture is much, much more colorful and a lot sharper.
First i thougt it is an original 16:9 version but, like on the "Pompeii Directors Cut" DVD they cut off the top and the bottom of the picture frame to give the whole thing a pseudo 16:9 feel. For that, look at the picture samples i had made. When you look at the brazilian pictures you can see that the original film was shot in the 4:3 screen format.

Like the brazilian version the audio track is in dolby digital stereo too, but here it sounds much, much clearer. Also it seems that they used some noise filter to eliminate tape hiss and noise. During the interview sequences you can hear German translations from the off. The new cover is in a kind of some "seventies pop art style" or so.
