A Great Gig in the Sky.

01.04.2006: Sam Brown trat heute als Überraschungsgast im mit 1.200 Fans ausverkauften Olympia mit David auf. Sie sang "The Great Gig In The Sky". Sam Brown war gerade mit Jools Holland und seiner Band in der Stadt, als David davon hörte und sie spontan einlud. Am Nachmittag des Konzerttages fanden die Proben statt.

Nach Great Gig sang das Publikum spontan Happy Birthday to David Gilmour!! Gilmour brach Shine on wegen eines Fehlers ab. Danach begann er von vorne mit einem sehr improvisierten Intro!! Ein weitere Überraschung war die Premiere von "Fat Old Sun". Und zwar nicht die Kurzversion wie 2001/2 sondern die komplette Fassung! Dafür mußte "Dominoes" aus dem Programm weichen.
